Instructions:
Paneer Tikka:- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, salt, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
- Add the paneer cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated paneer cubes onto skewers.
- Grill the paneer until it gets a nice char and is cooked through, turning occasionally. If using an oven, bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 20-25 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until the raw smell disappears.
- Add pureed tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook the masala until the oil starts to separate from the mixture.
- Add water and bring the gravy to a boil. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the gravy thickens.
- Add fresh cream and stir well. Adjust salt and spices according to your taste.
- Add the grilled paneer tikka to the gravy. Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing the paneer to absorb the flavors.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
